Offered here is a pristine, unused example of the JS-7 Adjustable-Depth Dozuki Saw, part of Bridge City Tool Worksโ celebrated Signature Series, proudly made in the USA in 2005. This saw exemplifies the brandโs fusion of Japanese design principles with American precision engineering.
The JS-7 features a dual-sided bladeโone side with 16 TPI, the other with 24 TPIโmaking it ideal for both hardwoods and softwoods. The adjustable depth stop, set via an integrated hex key stored in the handle, allows for repeatable, laser-straight cuts with a maximum depth of 1-11/16″. The saw plate is a mere .25mm thick (.0115″), yielding a kerf of approximately .020″, ensuring minimal waste and maximum control.
This tool is no longer in production and is increasingly sought after by collectors and fine woodworkers alike. As part of the Signature Series, it bears the mark of Bridge Cityโs founder, John Economaki, and represents a high point in modern toolmaking.
A rare opportunity to own a museum-grade example of a tool thatโs as functional as it is beautiful.
