Great Stanley No. 8 Jointer Plane – V Logo, Single Patent Date on Bed

A clean and solid example of the Stanley No. 8 jointer plane, this is the largest of the Bailey-style bench planes, measuring 24″ long with a 2 5/8″ wide cutter. This example features the raised “V” logo on the cutter and a single patent date cast into the bed, identifying it as a Type 13, produced between 1925 and 1928.

The japanning is 90% intact, with only minor wear from age, and the plane is free of any rust or pitting. The rosewood tote and knob are great, ideal for flattening large panels or jointing long edges with authority.
