This is one of Knight’s most impressive long planes—sleek, powerful, and designed for exceptional performance on difficult grain.
The laminated exotic‑wood body shows Knight’s signature sculptural craftsmanship, with bold grain contrasts and crisp lines throughout. At 24 inches, this jointer has the length and authority needed for flattening and truing larger boards, while the high‑angle bed excels on figured or interlocked stock where standard‑angle jointers can struggle.
The 2″ wide, 1/4″ thick iron is wickedly sharp and bedded solidly, giving the plane a lively, confident feel in the cut. These long Knight jointers are far less common than his smoothers and fore planes, and this is a standout example.
