New Old Stock Marples Shamrock Brass & Ebony Oval‑Head Marking / Mortise Gauge
A superb new old stock example of the classic Marples Shamrock brass & ebony marking/mortise gauge, still in its original box — a rare and highly desirable find for collectors of premium English layout tools.
The gauge itself is pristine, with rich Rosewood, beautifully fitted brass wear plates. The points are crisp, the finish untouched, and the presentation is exactly what you hope for in true NOS condition. The original box adds tremendous appeal and makes this an outstanding collector‑grade piece.
A top‑tier Marples gauge with exceptional preservation and full original packaging — the kind that seldom surfaces.
