I cannot find any maker’s mark on the plane, but it came from the same lot as several Steve Knight Toolworks planes, and the styling shares some of the hallmarks of boutique laminated‑wood plane makers of that era. The adjustable brass sole is especially interesting, allowing fine‑tuning of the mouth and adding weight and durability to the front end.

The 1/4″ thick iron is sharp and ready for work, bedded solidly for a smooth, positive feel in the cut. The handled form gives it excellent control, making it a capable small smoother whether used on the bench or kept as a unique addition to a modern‑maker collection.
