A finely made H. Slater bullnose shoulder plane featuring classic rosewood infill and the compact  body associated with Slater’s early work. The rosewood is well fitted and shows the warm, dense character collectors look for. The plane retains its original iron, which is worn down and close to the end of its usable life, but still properly seated.

The sole measures 3 5/8″, giving it the tight proportions ideal for trimming shoulders, rebates, and end‑grain details. A solid example of Slater’s craftsmanship, suitable for display or careful use with a replacement iron if desired.
