A scarce and early example of Stanley’s tail-handled block plane, the No. 15 1/2 combines compact precision with the added control of a rear knob—making it ideal for fine trimming and end grain work. This version features the original Bailey’s patent cutter and retains its classic proportions.

Condition: Excellent overall. Some wear to the underside of the rosewood knob, but all parts move freely and tighten securely.

This is a hard-to-find model, especially with the Bailey cutter and clean mouth plate. A standout piece for collectors and users alike.
