A minty Lie‑Nielsen No. 112 Cabinetmaker’s Large Scraper Plane, and this one appears unused — crisp edges, bright steel, and that unmistakable LN finish with no signs of shop wear. The No. 112 is Lie‑Nielsen’s refined take on the classic Stanley 112, prized for its ability to tame the most difficult, reversing, or highly figured grain.
The sole is clean, the hardware is bright, and the adjuster operates smoothly. The scraper blade shows no evidence of prior honing, and the overall presentation is exactly what collectors and high‑end users hope to find.
A top‑tier example of a long‑discontinued LN specialty plane — minty, crisp, and ready for a premium collection or a serious smoothing setup.
