New in Box – Rare Discontinued Lie-Nielsen Curved Drawknife with Leather Case

A superb and now discontinued offering from Lie-Nielsen Toolworks, this curved drawknife is new in box and includes the original fitted leather case, beautifully made in Maine. Based on an antique Witherby design and developed in collaboration with chairmakers like Brian Boggs and Jennie Alexander, this tool features a 7″ x 1 1/4″ O1 tool steel blade, hardened to Rc 60–62, with a flat 25° bevel and relief-milled back for easier sharpening. The maple handles are secured with stainless steel ferrules and positioned for use in both bevel-up and bevel-down configurations.

Discontinued by Lie-Nielsen and increasingly hard to find, this is a premium tool for green woodworking, chairmaking, or collectors of fine American edge tools.
