This plane has wedged high carbon steel blades. The sole is sloped 10 degrees. The plane cuts a tail up to 1 1/4″, with a maximum shoulder depth of 7/8″. There is a scoring spur to reduce tear-out on cross-grain work. Chips are thrown out of the top of the body. Overall length of the plane is 9 1/2″.The body of the plane is beech, the sole is hornbeam.
