With an overall length of just under 4″, and a cutting width just under 1″, the HP-3 is an amazing tool for thinner edges and flush trimming. Featuring an adjustable throat and a very fine blade adjustment mechanism (36 threads per inch), this small plane has what it takes to become one of your favorites.

The iron is cryogenically treated and hardened from A2 tool steel to Rc 60-62, the back is lapped to a RMS .5 finish, and it is ready to use out of the box. The body is precisely milled out of 360 brass alloy, as is the plane iron cap creating a weight and balance to the tool that simply invites use.
