A very nice example of the Standard Rule Co. No. 15, a two‑foot carpenter’s sliding rule produced in Unionville, Connecticut before the company merged into the later Chapin‑Stephens lineage. The No. 15 is one of their more desirable models, equipped with both Gunter’s scale and drafting scales, giving it a level of mathematical and layout capability not found on ordinary carpenter’s rules.
