A superb example of late 19th-century British infill craftsmanship, this 1″ shoulder plane by George Miller features a brass body with a sweated-on steel sole, delivering both elegance and performance. George Miller operated out of 24 Ampton Street, Grayโs Inn Road, London between 1890 and 1914, producing shoulder planes of exceptional quality and distinctive profile. His work is known for its clean gunmetal castings, tight mouths, and smooth, uncluttered formsโoften rounded across the top for a sensual, ergonomic feel.
