A great Jos. Tyzack & Son 8″ drawknife, made in Sheffield and showing the quality steelwork this name was known for. The 8″ cutting edge is clean and true, with a sharp bevel and plenty of life left.
The handles retain good color and shape, seating firmly on the tangs with no looseness. The drawknife has that balanced feel Tyzack tools are known for: stout enough for controlled stock removal, yet nimble for finer shaping and chairmaking work.
